Ricky Skaggs and The Whites' Grammy winning collaboration Salt of the Earth picked up a Dove Award this week for Bluegrass Recorded Album of the Year at the 39th Annual GMA Dove Awards.  This is Dove #1 for The Whites and Dove #2 for Skaggs, who took home the trophy in 2001 when 'Are You Afraid To Die?' (from Skaggs' Soldier of the Cross album) was crowned Bluegrass Recorded Song of the Year.
